COE TTHP Year 1 Meeting 4

The 4th Annual Meeting was held June 12 – 15, 2017. The meetings held June 12 and 13 were administrative in nature and included Strategic Planning, sessions with the Executive Committee and Industry Advisory Board, reviewing internal processes. The sessions held June 14 and 15 were hosted at the FAA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. These sessions included static displays and project briefings, presentations from academic and industry partners on working with the Center, and panel discussions. Day 1 – June 12th, 2016

FAA COE TTHP EC/IAB Strategy Meeting

1:30 – 4:30 pm – COE Strategic Direction with Dr. Friend and Dr. Pappas

External environment – Privatization update
Duplication of efforts – COE, CAMI, CTC task order and grant overlap
Review of FAA AJI Technical Training Strategy and Roadmap
- Align to current COE research projects
- Identify gaps
- Discuss new research ideas
- Identify funders
Expansion areas outside of AJI-2 and FAA (e.g., DoD, NASA)
